On a journey through Italy, Salon by Debbie Spa founder Debbie Nazelrod happened upon the Castello di Verrazzano, an ancient family castle amidst the rolling green hills of Tuscany. The estate’s beauty and history inspired Debbie to create our one-of-a-kind Tuscan Suite experience. Here, you will enjoy many of Italy’s richest healing traditions: A family-style communal table and lush chaise lounges where you can reconnect with old friends and get to know new ones. Sparkling star lights that transport you to a quiet evening in the tranquil Tuscan countryside. And a host of European spa amenities—including an aromatherapy sauna, dry steam room, and 360-degree, rainfall-like Swiss shower—designed to awaken your senses and melt your tensions.

Appointments

Salon and spa services are available by appointment 7 days a week. A credit card or gift card is required to schedule all services. We recommend scheduling your appointments ahead of time to reserve your preferred time. Walk-ins are always welcome, as we sometimes do have last-minute openings. If the day and time you request is not available, we will be happy to add you to our cancellation list and contact you with any openings.

 

Cancellations

We request a 24-hour cancellation notice for guests scheduled for a single service and a 48-hour notice for guests scheduled for two or more services. Groups are requested to cancel at least 72 hours before their scheduled date. If less notice than this is given, 50% of the service price will be charged to your credit card or deducted from your gift card. If you do not show up for your appointment, 100% of the service price will be charged to your credit card or deducted from your gift card.

 

Late Arrivals

If you arrive late for your service, we will make every effort to accommodate your full service. If other appointments are scheduled immediately after yours, your service will be shortened and you will remain responsible for the full service price.

 

Guest Satisfaction

We want every guest’s experience with us to be positively wonderful. If for any reason you are not pleased with your service or experience, please let us know. We will be happy to redo the service to your satisfaction within 7 days of the original appointment. Please be aware that some hair and spa services can be damaged or the effects negated without the proper home care. Your stylist or therapist will explain any specific instructions and recommend professional products to support and enhance the treatment you received. If you have not followed these recommendations, we will not be responsible for the maintenance of your service. We are not responsible for any lost, stolen or damaged personal property including clothing, jewelry, or other such personal items.  You are encouraged to leave these items at home. We do have items collected in our Lost & Found.  Items that are unclaimed are donated to charity at the close of every month.

 

Gift Cards

Gift cards are available for any dollar amount and may be purchased 7 days a week at the Spa or on our website. Gift cards may be redeemed for products or services. Gift cards cannot be used for tips unless a tip is specifically added to the card at the time of purchase. All of our gift cards expire four years after the date of purchase. We are not responsible for lost or stolen gift cards. Gift cards are not returnable and cannot be redeemed for cash. Gift cards must be present at time of redemption.

 

Returned Checks

A fee of $25 will be charged each time a check returns to our bank.

 

Children

The minimum age requirement to receive massage is 18 years of age and facial is 14 years of age. Children under 14 are not permitted in the spa lounge or treatment rooms. For their own safety, children under 18 must be supervised by an adult not receiving services at all times. Please arrange for child care before your visit. Any child under the age of eighteen must have a parent or guardian sign a parental consent form at time of service.

 

Cell Phones & Pagers

To respect the wishes of all of our guests, we request that all cell phones and pagers are on vibrate or silent during your visit. If you are expecting an important telephone call, please speak in a quiet voice as to not disturb our other guests. Cell phone use is not permitted in the spa.

 

Gratuity

Gratuity is a reflection of excellent customer service. Spa in The Valley does not allow gratuities to be put on credit cards, although we do offer an ATM to receive cash back for your service providers.

 

Health Concerns

Please let us know when you schedule your appointment if you are pregnant, have allergies, have recently been injured or have health concerns so we can advise you of the best choice of spa treatments. When you arrive at the spa, you will be asked to fill out a health questionnaire. This will allow us to customize your treatment and make sure all methods used support your health and never cause harm. Treatments with heat are not advisable for pregnant women or guests with heart conditions or high blood pressure. Body treatments are not advisable for pregnant women or guests who have difficulty lying flat or turning over on the treatment table. If you have a cold or flu, we recommend you reschedule your spa treatments since massage of any kind, including massage in our body treatments and facials, increases circulation and the release of toxins. This combined with an immune system that is already overtaxed could increase negative symptoms.

 

Alcohol & Recreational Drugs

Guests who have consumed alcohol or recreational drugs are not permitted to receive services. Massage or body work of any kind increases circulation and speeds the delivery of these substances throughout your system. Please be aware that consuming any of these substances within 24 hours after a massage can also have adverse effects.

Product Purchases and Return Policy

Products may be exchanged for other merchandise or will be issued a store credit within 30 days of the original purchase with a valid receipt. Any time that a store credit is issued, it may only be used towards another product purchase and expires within six months of being issued. No refunds, will be given on services, products, or gift cards. All sale items, make-up, vitamins, and jewelry/boutique are final sale.

Circle Rewards Guest Loyalty Program
